9 (1) Not be an issue what a candidate's religion is; (2) Not be a means for a candidate to cheaply buy votes such as George W. Bush did in both 2000 and 2004. It's a slimy way to garner votes. |

2 Really now...so why exactly did our founding fathers come here?? If you knew anything about OUR history, you would remember the fact that we have the right to believe in ANY religion even if you are president. Fact: The majority of our founding fathers were Free Masons. The masons are NOT based on one religion, they only require that you believe in some sort of higher power. |

1 Yes, they all can. Half the men in my family were free masons, and I was active in Job's Daughters. The Free Masons pretty much created our Declaration and that is why we have freedom of religion. |

1 I'm an Occultist but when you have issues like the above with religion, yes, it should be a campaign issue. Religion can turn into fascism mighty fast. Look at Hitler. |

1 So do you think it would be better to elect a person with no religion? |

2 That would NEVER happen in the U.S., ahah, but it would be interesting to see what an atheist would do running your country. |
