No offense, but my wife and daughter talk like freakin banshees at me. I love them to death but give me a break!! Sometimes they even try to talk to me at the same time and get ticked at each other for interrupting each others useless banter. If i even try to say something its like i have disrupted the flow of the universe..

The only reason people think women talk more is because people actuallly listen when we talk. It must be because we have better things to say. Who really listens to men when they talk, I just usuall nod my head politey and think of the conversation I had earlier with one of my girlfriends.

Holy Crap!! That's exactly what I do (the nodding part). Be honest. Does your husband/boyfriend talk more than you? What do your friends think?

Well I couln't say, but I do know that men do gossip. I work in a male dominated field and I can't get them to shutup. They gossip just as much or more than woman. They can't keep the fact that they are cheating on thier wives with thier friends wife to themselfves. I mean come on some things you just don't talk about.
